Subject to certain exclusions, all persons who purchased or leased a 1999 Mitsubishi Galant new are considered "Settlement Class Members" and may be eligible to seek Remedies under the proposed settlement. The following persons are excluded from the class: (1) all persons who have settled a prior claim or lawsuit against Mitsubishi, or who have executed a release in favor of Mitsubishi, in connection with brake pulsation, vibration or judder concerns; (2) all purchasers or lessees of a new 1999 Mitsubishi Galant who are employees, directors, officers or agents of Mitsubishi, or of its subsidiaries or affiliated companies; and (3) any person or entity who acquired a new 1999 Galant for the purpose of resale, leasing or renting to another person or entity.
